We help eligible individuals and families apply for energy assistance programs like HEAP and HeartShare. Our staff will provide guidance and support throughout the application process to ensure our community stays safe with sufficient cooling or heating.

What is HEAP?

The Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP) is a federal program that helps eligible low-income New Yorkers with heating and cooling costs, qualified individuals may receive financial assistance with their bills and avoid utility shutoffs.

What is HeartShare?

HeartShare is a private/non-profit program that helps individuals who may not be eligible for HEAP or require additional assistance. It provides low-income New Yorkers with utility assistance similar to HEAP.
