WHAT IS ACW
Asian Community Watch (ACW) is a civilian patrol organization initiated by Councilwoman Inna Vernikov and community members.

ACW seek to address the growing concerns of the safety of Asian American communities in the neighborhood. We seek to improve safety, foster community bonds, and educate members of our community about safety issues.
Our mission is to work for a safer tomorrow, we believe a safe environment is an environment where we can all thrive.

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
We do more than just controlling, our mission also include engaging with the community through various initiatives.
We conduct safety workshops to educate our community, organize community events, and work with local authorities to address larger safety issues.

WHY IT MATTERS
VISIBLE PRESENCE
The presence of our volunteers in the community sends a clear message – that we are here, we care, and we are actively engaged in safeguarding our neighborhoods. This visibility serves as both a deterrent to potential wrongdoers and a reassurance to law-abiding residents.
PROACTIVE ACTION
Our patrols are not just about observation; they are also about proactively addressing safety concerns. Volunteers engage with community members, listening to their worries, and working to find solutions. Whether it’s addressing neighborhood hazards or fostering unity, we aim to make a positive impact.
BUILDING TRUST
Trust is the bedrock of any strong community. ACW volunteers build trust by establishing meaningful connections with residents. We’re not just strangers in uniforms; we’re neighbors and friends dedicated to the same cause.
