Dr. Kevin Tin was born and raised in lower Manhattan and is a board-certified gastroenterologist, obesity medicine specialist at Newtown Gastroenterology, practicing in Queens and Brooklyn, New York. He completed his residency and fellowship training at Maimonides Medical Center, where he distinguished himself as Chief Fellow. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Tin earned a Master of Science in Healthcare Law and Strategy from New York University, further expanding his knowledge in healthcare law and policy.
Beyond his medical practice, Dr. Tin is the founder and president of the Fujianese Medical Association, a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing education, patient navigation, community service, and mentorship opportunities for the next generation of healthcare professionals within the Asian community.
